Starting College? 5 College Must Haves

Are you starting college soon? Already in college? Want to dress up as a college student for Halloween?

Regardless, these are 5 college student must haves if you have any hopes for fitting into your college campus and to be a productive student.

1. Leggings

If you don’t already have leggings in your wardrobe…what’s wrong with you? It’s the only pants that will get you through finals, your first frat party and your once a month work out.

2. Oversized T-Shirts

Tight t-shirts are for high schoolers, everyone knows that college students only wear t-shirts that they can smuggle snacks into lecture with and not wear a bra under so when your roommate brings their friends into your room unexpectedly, you can hang out with them until they look away and you can grab a bra. No one will be the wiser.

If you want your outfit to look a little more put together, knot the t-shirt to the side. Instantly more put together.

3. College Sweatshirt

You’ll probably wear it for 2 weeks straight during finals, which is nothing to be ashamed of, everyone else is doing it. But step it up and rep your university, so at least you look like you have school spirit instead of feeling so dead tired to care.

4. Baseball Cap

Perfect to wear when you haven’t washed your hair in 4 days and you want to avoid eye contact with people in the library.

5. Oversized Flannel Shirt

Wear this when your sweatshirt smells to much to wear to lecture. If you want to be super college student trendy, pair this with your leggings, oversized t-shirt and a baseball cap for the ultimate ‘I am so dead I can’t deal with this please let me a Pumpkin Spice latte or a  tequila shot’.

If you have all of these essentials in your closet, then you can attack school as the true college student you are. Don’t forget your North Face backpack and your Nike’s sneakers!

Here are some more basics that I’d recommend
